Fall Beauty Trends

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love the change in weather, fall events, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes. The fall clothing usually has a richer color palette along with the makeup, and the skincare tends to be more hydrating. I put together some of the latest beauty and makeup trends to familiarize you with the current shifts in beauty for the Fall season.

Latte Makeup

Latte Makeup is a big trend, and I love it for all ages because it is so wearable and perfect for the fall. If you like summertime because skin tints are the way to go, you will love the latte makeup because it’s a more intense version of that look. It is subtle, monochromatic, and reminds me of a modernized 90’s makeup look. Mix warm-toned caramel browns on the eyes, lips, and cheeks to wear this trend. To wear this trend in the evening, layer the shades until you get the look you want, going deeper with each layer of shadow or blush.

Single Shadows and Eyeshadow Sticks

Shadow sticks and single-pot cream shadows are making a comeback; they are uncomplicated, easy to blend, and buildable for a more dramatic nighttime look. This trend goes with the minimalistic and no makeup look very well. One shade is easier to apply for someone short on time and saves space for anyone who wants to streamline their makeup bag. The big eyeshadow palettes are fun, but there are usually a few that you gravitate towards in the eyeshadow pan, while the others may get used less, which can be wasteful, expensive, and take up a lot of room.

Makeup with Skincare Ingredients

Consumers understand the benefits of skincare and can appreciate the advantages of using makeup with skincare properties. A hybrid of both has resulted in a trend in more makeup products that include antiaging ingredients or mattifying ingredients that cater to your specific skin concerns. This trend is here to stay, and I love it because any makeup that improves your skin along the way is valuable.

Lip Oils

Lip oils are super hydrating, easy to wear, and not sticky. They are perfect for fall and winter when everyone’s lips are drier than usual. Lips stay glossy looking all day with extra added shine. They come in many colors, and use a brown lip liner for your latte makeup look. Colors are usually easily blended to work with many different color palettes.

Body Products

Love for body products is finally starting to spill into the other seasons, and new products are launching that address your specific needs. Several options are available for added brightness, exfoliation, hydration, and firmness. Some products will manage stretch marks, cellulite, texture, and psoriasis. Body products come in different forms, like body serums, masks, and creams. Dry body brushing and exfoliators help rejuvenate your skin’s look and feel.

Niacinamide is the new “it” ingredient, but it has been known as vitamin B3 in skincare ingredients for a long time. The benefits for the skin are its brightening, helps with dullness uneven skin tone, and most importantly, strengthens the skin barrier.
